Boots and Shoes from Your Own Hides
Many different leathers make up into wonderful shoes and boots and can be an extremely personal gift when made from your own hides. We have had many customers send us their hides so we can determine if the hide would be adequate to make the style requested. The tannage, size, and quality of the leather determines whether it will be usable or not. The average pair of shoes requires approximately 3 to 4 square feet of leather. A boot requires 5 to 6 square feet. All leather not used in making your shoe will be returned. Cost: The cost will be the same price of the style you request, as a customer-supplied hide requires special attention.
Caring for Your WillyMocs
Your WillyMocs are easy to care for. Periodically use the leather protector included with your shoe. If your shoes get wet, let them air dry to maintain the supple flexibility of the leather.
WillyMoc Leather Protector
Our leather protector is an excellent leather care product formulated to protect all leathers from water spotting, grease spotting, soiling, scuffing, discoloration and dirt build-up. It penetrates easily and helps maintain the suppleness and durability of your moccasins. When used regularly, it is an excellent water repellant and will prolong the beauty and life of your moccasins. We include one free bottle with your shoe order. Note: Not for use on suede. Contents available upon request.
WillyMoc Gift Cards
WillyMoc Gift Cards are available and can be purchased for any desired amount. The Gift Card is sent out with instructions on how to redeem it, beginning with the recipient requesting the WillyMoc Measurement and Order Kit.
The Rubber Vibram® Sole Option
Because of numerous customer requests, we added an option for a Vibram® rubber sole. The rubber sole provides better traction on snow and in wet conditions. It does not really wear any longer than our double leather sole and we replace them at about the same rate as our leather soles. A rubber sole also adds a bit more stiffness to the shoe, decreasing the "barefoot feel" of the shoe and adding to the break-in time.
Repairing WillyMocs
A pair of WillyMocs with a handsewn sole is not like your standard footwear. They are meticulously handsewn and provide years of enjoyable wear, but a new sole may eventually be needed. Because the construction and hand sewing are not familiar to many shoe repair shops, we urge you to send your shoes back to us for a rebuild and refurbishment.
Resoles
Your handsewn WillyMocs can be resoled, provided the leather has been well maintained and is in good condition. Please clean your moccasins before sending them to us for a resole. If you have a pair of double-soled moccasins purchased for another source in need of repair or resole, we would be glad to check and rebuild them if possible.
Please include a note with the shoes when you send them to us that specifies what needs to be done. Include your name, address, phone number and the best time to call. We strive to get repairs completed as soon as possible, but it may take up to 3 weeks, as we are building other shoes. How Long Does it Take to Make My WillyMocs?
You will be notified by email or phone when we begin building your shoes. Once we begin building your shoes, expect shipment (usually) in about 4 weeks.
Special Leather Requests
We will certainly entertain requests for exotic leather species and colors that are not listed on our site. There are indeed many exotic leathers available, but because of limited availablilty and price fluctuations, we do not feature them in our line-up of standard exotics. Hard-to-Fit and Deformed Feet
Working with careful measurements, tracings, and even photographs, we have successfully made shoes for customers with hard to fit feet. We take great pleasure in putting those who suffer through the discomfort and pain of ill-fit shoes into a pair of custom-fit, baby-soft WillyMocs.

We accept VISA, MC, Discover, American Express, money orders and personal checks (personal checks are cleared before we begin the order).
International Orders
International Orders must be paid in US funds (credit card). All orders must include complete address and telephone number, including country code. You are responsible for all duties, customs charges and taxes.
